Nice clean hotel with good staff
Liked: Hotel was nice and clean.
Disliked: Location wasn't the best.
Tidy, great little pool
Liked: Room was tidy, bed was comfortable and the pool was great. While there was no fridge in the room, the counter staff allowed us to place a bottel of wine in the fridge downstairs which was appreciated!
Disliked: Im sure it would have been stated, but i was fairly surprised that there was no air conditioning in the room - while we were there the temp wasnt too bad, but i cant imagine what it would have been like in summer.
facility is nice NOT ON THE CAMINO and women STAFF ARE HORRIBLE
Liked: facility has a pool so we soaked our tired legs and feet and grocery around the corner was good. good breakfast in the morning and the rooms were nice and clean.
Disliked: STAFF - 2 female staff members should be fired. when we tried to check in no one was around so we used their desk phone to call the number on the door - the women came from the back and started yelling at my husband for using the phone - we apologized but were tired from walking the total 1 mile incline OFF the camino to get there IT IS NOT ON THE CAMINO - 1 MILE TOTAL INCLINE! and she continues to yell at him when her boss came out. He shrugged and didn't really care. we were exhausted pilgrims! WOW! the next morning my 80 yr old husband asked a second female at the desk to call a cab to take us down the hill to start the camino there - she told him he was ridiculous and shouldn't be walking the camino if he could not walk the extra (off the camino mile down the hill) So we left and would NEVER recommend this hotel if you are on the camino or if you expect professional nice staff to assist you. (my husband apologized to the man at the desk later in the evening about using the phone - and he said it was no problem at all)
Good value and a great breakfast
Liked: Overall very good value, clean and comfortable room and excellent breakfast! Much better than anticipated for a 1 star property. We booked this as nothing available in Pontevedra due to a Triathalon event. Ended up chatting with athletes from all over the world who were staying there too! Bicycle friendly.
Disliked: A long uphill walk from Pontevedra. The pool was open but icy cold - great for soaking sore feet but not comfortable for a swim.
Liked: The people who work at the hotel were wonderful. The breakfast was very tastly! 10/10 for all.
Liked: Kind staff!:) Good breakfast, everything was very clean.
