  Not great value

  Liked: It was new and had great ammenities and it was right at the ripe of the stairway to town, much appreciated after a long second day. Wonderful reception staff

  Disliked: The walls are paper thin, might as well been in a dorm, it was 90 euros for one person, which did not even include their terrible breakfast

  Disappointing

  Liked: it's convenient, on the way to the Camino de santiago walk.

  Disliked: staff not friendly, dismissive. I arrived 15 minutes before check in time after a long El camino de Santiago walk which she is aware because I looked just like any pilgrim but I am a female. There were 2 guys ahead of me, she checked them in. I told her I have a confirmed reservation, she said wait till check in time, she cut me off. Another guy walked in, no reservation, she gave him a room. I was checked in by a male colleague of hers. No apologies, just same bland attitude.

  Liked: Everything, specially the view I had to the river. The facilities were so clean and comfortable.

  Disliked: I liked it everything, it was the top 2 of my stays during the camino.

  Bed bugs, blood and a trip to the pharmacy. Avoid

  Liked: The hotel is infested with bed bugs.

  Disliked: Careful! This hotel is infested with bed bugs. We booked the private room and it was covered in bed bugs - small and large. There were so many of them, all coming out at night. Unfortunately one of us had an allergic reaction to the bites and needed medical attention. It prevented us from completing the Camino. Hotel staff do not fumigate the rooms despite knowing they have a serious issue with bed bugs. They moved us to a dormitory at 2am, but we also got bitten there. We did not sleep at all and had to cancel our plans to walk the Camino, losing money. We have tried contacting them for a refund as we didn’t stay in the lakeside view room due to the bed bugs and they have not replied to our messages. You should completely avoid this hotel.
