Exceptional
excellent hosts
Liked: basic continental breakfast was included in the price. toast and jam, a bun, 2 different marmalades, fruit juice and coffee. it was very good.
Disliked: the mattess could have done with being replaced but saying that, we did sleep well.
Great peaceful location, but with easy access to the Autovía
Liked: The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I stayed in the tower, it was very comfortable and peaceful. Beautiful location. The food available was delicious.
Wonderful retreat, great experience
Liked: Amazing tranquil retreat. In the middle of nowhere with beautiful views. Breakfast included, very reasonable evening meal provided (best to reserve in advance if possible). Lovely staff. Beer and wine available. Safe storage for our bikes.

Nice place in a quiet location
Liked: Nice location, part of a farmyard. The owners family restored the place up from a cow & pig shed. Lots of nice beams. Very quiet apart from a dog barking all night! Think it was the dog that looks after the sheep who just wander around the farmyard. Owner very friendly but no English spoken. Room ok. Breakfast very basic toast & jam, piece of cake, pinepple juice and tea/coffee. Not expensive so pretty good value
Disliked: No one there when we arrived. No restaurant but the lady cooked us chicken & chips whch was fine with a nice salad bean starter and custard for pudding, We were the only people staying so after the meal the owners left and we were then locked in. Bit concerning if we needed to contact anyone.
Liked: Close to A67 en route to Santander.
Disliked: Stayed in the tower room, stairs to bedroom very difficult to manage.
HAD TO PAY FOR A SECOND COFFEE AT BREAKFAST!!!!
Liked: Warm and clean
Disliked: Had to phone then wait for it to be opened. Long drive to a bar/cafe. Breakfast was appalling; NO plates (?!), a slice of toast and pre pack roll but worst of all was made to pay for having had a second coffee!!!!
Good to know
For reservations of beds in shared rooms (bunk beds): Guests can bring sleeping bag and if not we have sheets for rent at 4 €, the sheets are changed once a week. Blankets are provided for 1.50 €. Only for only for rooms with shared bunk beds.
A deposit may be required at the property.
