Exceptional
Great location and views
Liked: We liked the views from the property, the fact you could walk into Ribadesella, well equipped, comfortable sofa, lovely hot water and shower, well placed for visiting both beaches and mountains. We liked that our apartment (no 3) was on the top level, so not overlooked.
Disliked: Although this is advertised as a no-smoking property, there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the apartment, ingrained in the furnishings. Also the access is quite steep, narrow and twisty.
Peaceful getaway with sea, sand and sights
Liked: The location was quiet and private with parking, terrace and wonderful views of mountains and the estuary. The accommodation was well-decorated with nice details. The open fire and wood was great. Everything was clean and well-organised. The communication was good and we were lucky to be able to check in earlier. Good check out time at 12.00. There were lovely village walks and local attractions are close by. La Madreña restaurante is to be recommended, good cooking and delicious food. Our cat loved the safe and green environment too.
Disliked: The access to the property is on steep, narrow and slippery side roads. The bed mattress was a bit thin and the sofa was too small and uncomfortable. The kitchen was well -equipped, but a kettle, available tea & coffee, and cereal bowls would make it better. Temperature of water & heating needs turning down. Despite these comments, it is still recommendable and well worth the stay.

Nice apartment for a romantic get away!
Liked: Very nice apartment with all the necessary items to almost live there (including a washing machine), they have a nice fireplace and provided the firewood
Disliked: Not that you need them, but it has a couple of TVs (the one in the room is tiny!) but neither is a Smart TVs or has any system to cast/project anything on them, so basically for watching local TV
Very good stay, amazing views, comfortable. Would stay again
Liked: The property has amazing view. Pet friendly. Host met us for an earlier check-in. The terrace and barbecue were great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Close to town. Good space for dogs to run around. There is no wifi at the property (as mentioned in the property description) but you can get a good connection with the phone. It is a great place if you are looking to disconnect and listen to the sounds of nature.
Disliked: The access to the property is quite steep and narrow. Even our friends in a small SUV scraped the pavement once or twice. You have to manage your approach angles but the view you get is worth it. We noticed ants were getting into one of the bathrooms. The shower door in our bathroom was not sealing so water was going all over the floor. Closet door came off its hinges when we opened it. Overall small issues that can be easily addressed by the host and would not stop us from staying here again.
