  Very handy and clean

  Liked: Very comfortable, relaxed staff, easy parking outside and handy for driving around the area. Food was good with generous portions. A great walk to the cave road across the river by the footbridge. Just park a little way up the road.

  Disliked: Kettle in room would have been good although we had coffee from the bar which was very reasonable. Local area maps with nice places would be useful. WiFi only reached bar, not in the rooms

  Motel type accommodation by river, but no river views from rooms

  Liked: Location by the river, not far from coast and great for Descenso de Rio Sella

  Disliked: One member of staff was positively hostile. A man who either ignored us or just didn’t want to listen and was very rude and unresponsive in spite of his colleague, a kind woman who was much friendlier, telling him we were hotel guests. He just pointed to a sign when we asked to pay for various coffees and breakfast things all together instead of talking to us. I think he just didn’t like tourists. The other two staff, two younger men, weren’t very friendly either but warmed up a bit. It was on a very busy road where there was a crash and a lot of people were getting very drunk on the roadside bar and then driving off.

  Adequate and comfortable stay in a solid, no-frills motel

  Liked: Adequate and comfortable no-frills hotel a few miles outside of Ribadesella. Staff were very helpful and arranged a pick up from town as we arrived on public transport.

  Disliked: Quite expensive for one room, although we appreciate it was in high season.

  A cozy place with sights that are easy to explore!

  Liked: Excellent location to the places we planned to visit, eg. Ribadesella, Cangas de Onis and Covadonga. Really clean rooms. Pleasant stay!

  Disliked: Just the doors, not closing quietly.
