Exceptional
Absolutely fantastic!
Liked: The apartment was very clean, well furbished and the kitchen had everything needed. The location is fantastic, just by the beach and with plenty of restaurants and shops at a short distance. All rooms have air conditioning. Rafael and his wife met us on arrival and handed over the keys. They were very friendly and gave us good recommendations about places to eat and to visit in the area. Finally, Salobrena is an excellent location for a family holiday. There are plenty of activities to do, such as paddling, kayaking or snorkelling.

Excellent place to escape the British winter. Stayed for 10 weeks and felt like home. Would definitely recommend

good location, could be noisy
Liked: The owners were very nice and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, with a wrap around terrace facing the sea, although the kitchen is rather tired and the washing machine needs repairing / replacing. The apartment is on the first floor, but there is a lift, and it’s close to all amenities. Easy, free street parking within the gated urbanisation.
Disliked: The apartment is located on a beach facing corner, however it is above a large restaurant so even in February there’s a lot of noise, both from the road outside ( busy corner junction onto seafront and car parks) and the restaurant - all day and all night…. raising and closing shutters, customers chatting, tables and chairs being dragged about. The smell of cooking from the restaurant also gathers in the hall and bedrooms of the apartment, so it’s wise to keep the bedroom and bathroom doors closed at all times. The walls between flats are also quite thin and the neighbours rather loud… it’s probably a good job we don’t speak much Spanish or we’d have heard a few too many secrets.

Liked: The location was fantastic. The apartment was good, and we had everything we needed. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. It is very easy for supermarkets, tapas bars etc... And overlook the beach, beautiful.
Disliked: The apartment is a little dated, although still nice. Here at the beach, it was very busy with cars on a Sunday with locals coming down to eat and enjoy the beach. The museum was closed down, and quite a few shops look like they have now gone.
