  Liked: Loved the staff, variety of accomodation and the facility were great - especially the pool!!

  Disliked: The bed was a little hard but we are used to a very specific mattress and they supplied lovely thick blankets so once we put those on we were grand!

  Welcoming place for families by the beach

  Liked: Aside from the unusually hot weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The campsite has a lovely, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, and its location just a short walk from the beach is ideal. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there’s plenty to do. Our kids had a great time in the pool, taking part in the organised activities, playing football, and making the most of the sports facilities. Our daughter is 10 and would have loved to join the mini club, especially the arts and crafts sessions, but she was just over the age limit. It might be worth considering some activities for pre-teens during the quieter parts of the day, as it would give them an alternative to spending all their time in the pool. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues with our bungalow—a sticking door and a sink that wasn’t draining properly—but the maintenance team responded promptly and resolved them quickly, which we really appreciated. We also found the laundry room very convenient, and being able to pay by card made it quick and easy to use. The co-working space was another great feature—a quiet place to work, and the €3 per hour fee felt very reasonable. The only downside was that it became very hot when it hadn’t been used for a while because the sun was shining directly on the building, although thankfully the air conditioning eventually cooled the room down. We also loved the free book library, which was a lovely touch. Overall, despite the exceptional heat during our visit, we had a wonderful stay. We’d happily return and would recommend the campsite to other families looking for a clean, well-equipped, and welcoming place to stay close to the beach.

  Disliked: It was very hot at night because of the heatwave, and without air conditioning it was difficult to sleep. In hindsight, we should have asked about upgrading to a different bungalow once we arrived, as none of the upgraded options were available on Booking.com when we made our reservation. Alternatively, we should have brought a fan, which would have made a big difference. We simply didn’t think one would be necessary, but I’d strongly recommend bringing one if you’re staying during warmer weather, as the bungalow’s layout doesn’t allow for much airflow inside.
