  Liked: A very clean and well maintained residence with interesting room decorations, located within walking distance of the beach. I think a pleasant feature is the presence of a small balcony, where it’s nice to sit in the evening at sunset with a glass of wine. I would especially like to note the contact with the owner. The response is always fast and professional, in particular, changing the date of the reservation was completed without problems within a couple of hours. I was also impressed by the good organization of handing over the keys.

  Disliked: It might be quite noisy, as many neighbors are doing construction work during the off-season.

  Liked: Ideal location for the beach & restaurants, it welcomed my little dog and there was a small but usable front gated terrace. There was a washing machine in a separate utility area. Free parking was no problem. There was a full size basic kitchen.

  Disliked: It was 40° most days yet there was no ceiling or free standing fan in the main downstairs front room, only AC which meant you couldn't have any doors or windows open yet there was a huge fan in the kitchen that was only set up for the light option. Also a note on the wall saying if you used the AC a lot you could receive a bill for the electricity used.

  Lovely stay in a normal (in a good way) Spanish seaside town

  Liked: The location in a Spanish residential area, as opposed to an area predominantly non-spanish. Easy access to town's facilities and beaches on mar menor, as well as a short drive to the beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean coast. Nice places to eat a short walk away, lovely promenade for walks. Excellent mountain hiking within an hour's drive. Proximity to major cities such as Murcia, Alicante, Elche for nice days out. plenty of storage in apartment, lovely strong, hot shower.

  Disliked: Curtains in the double bedroom need attention, we had to leave them closed for the duration of our stay, very limited space for cooking and prepping food. Limited space for storing food in the kitchen, and we couldn't find any replacement quilt covers that were large enough for the double bed. Very difficult to find initially as the calle de haya is a very long, old street that is built over in parts, and in other parts has become a dirt track/pathway impassable by car.
