  Excellent price for view, security, and parking. Some family members took time to warm up

  Liked: The sleeping facilities were very sufficient. The view from our 7th floor room/balcony was great (half of Gibraltar, Morrocco on the horizon and the ships at rest in a working port.) The facility manager was very responsive. When we had initial trouble opening the apartment's door (the key turned but the lock didn't release, and I was nervous about breaking the key in the lock), she came and patiently demonstrated the ol' tug-on-the-door-while-jiggling-the-key for that last bit of turn. She later followed up to make sure we had things under control. And FREE parking!

  Disliked: The buildings are under some renovation, which, upon first impression, gives an air of being a little run down. (Zero effect on the lodging aspect, but family was giving me some questioning side-glances). The apartment also has some wear and tear. In spots, the vinyl floor tile had lost a top layer. The freezer had not been defrosted in a while, making its use problematic. Finally, a thin, expanding-type accordion pull door separated the toilet/bidet/shower room from the hallway. It was noisy to close (Loud clicks at night), and was missing the locking mechanism (When closed, ASSUME the room is in use and do not enter without query.).

  Liked: We stayed here for 3 nights in November, the only downside was we would have loved to stay for longer. Amazing place, we loved the views, comfort, clean and spacious. We would love to come again Thank you for having us

  Perfect location to explore La Linea and Gibraltar

  Liked: Easy to locate, attentive and prompt communication from the host. Good instructions on gaining access. Host answered messages almost immediately. Great area, friendly residents and felt safe, good security in the building. Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and sofa. Fresh linen, soap, tea and coffee provided. Great shower and plenty of hot water. Large airy apartment, nicely furnished. Beautiful views of Gibraltar and Morocco. 30 min walk from the airport, €6 in a taxi. Dia large supermarket 10 min walk, open 7 days till 21:30h. Glad we chose La Linea to stay over Gibraltar, well worth the quieter more traditional Spanish feel. If you don’t mind walking and enjoy exploring this place is perfect.
