Disliked: Dear Booking.com Customer Support Team, I am writing to submit a formal complaint regarding OBR Residencial El Cuartel in Grañón, Spain. The conditions at this property are absolutely unacceptable and raise serious concerns about hygiene, safety, and the suitability of the building for accommodating guests. During my visit, I observed the following: * Extremely dirty rooms and common areas. * Unhygienic and poorly maintained bathrooms and toilet facilities. * Holes in the ceilings and visible damage to the building. * A severely neglected interior, with dirt and signs of deterioration throughout the property. * An overall condition that makes the building look more like an abandoned property than accommodation intended for paying guests. In my opinion, this property is not simply poorly maintained — its condition raises serious questions about whether it is safe for people to stay there. Buildings in such a state should not be rented out to guests until their safety and suitability for accommodation have been properly inspected and confirmed. I find it deeply concerning that such a property is advertised and available for booking through Booking.com. Travellers trust your platform to provide accommodation that meets basic standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. This property appears to fall far below those standards. I strongly request that Booking.com: 1. Investigate this property and the conditions described in my complaint. 2. Review whether it meets the minimum hygiene and safety standards required for accommodation. 3. Suspend its availability on your platform if the safety concerns cannot be resolved. 4. Take appropriate action to prevent other travellers from experiencing the same conditions. I have photographic evidence documenting the condition of the property and can provide it to support my complaint. Guest safety should always come before commercial interests.
Dreadful place
Liked: Nothing it was terrible.
Disliked: Very run down stale, smell, the shower was broken and I had to ask how it worked. The bed linen didnt seem clean there was no plunge pool. It does not come close to the pictures or the description. The bin had no lid and had some very mouldy rubbish in it.
Would likely not come back or recommend
Liked: Staff very friendly.
Disliked: Run down with photos inaccurate as outdated. No sign in front. Peeling walls, cobwebs, dirty floors, musty furniture.
Disliked: The low rating for this place is definitely justified. It was very dirty, and the shower didn’t work.
Liked: very quiet place in the end of vilage, kitchen.
