  The Camino‘s rare find

  Liked: The property is an original farmhouse that’s over 125 years old. The hosts have kept it original and that shows. To some that might be a turn off as it’s not the IKEA decorated type of Albergue along the way. I’m very much enjoyed the host. They took very good care of my wife and I had fed me like there was no tomorrow.

  Disliked: This type of Albergue was more of the experience 15 years ago than it is today. Personally, my wife and I loved the experience. That said read the reviews for yourself.

  Disliked: Despite having paid in advance and with baggage transferred we found the accommodation inhospitable and were unable to stay. Not up to expected standards.

  Superb

  Liked: This is a gateway farmhouse in a very quiet area on Camino de Santiago, a perfect distance for me to travel from my previous location which is about 28km away. The hosts were very friendly and the dinner was delicious.

  Home away from Home

  Liked: Amazing hosts, the couple take care of everything and make you feel right at home. Isabel is also an amazing cook, with home grown vegetables, the best Santiago cake on all of the Camino, and some medicinal oils for an achy ankle. Would love to return for a longer stay!

  A decent stat but out of town
