Nice apartment in a great location with some drawback
Liked: Very clean and well kept apartment. Digital locks were extremely easy to use. Great location near a supermarket and easily accessible from the train station.
Disliked: The washer did not spin (apparently broken), I couldn’t get the induction top to work (so I couldn’t cook the food I bought), the hot water never seemed to get hot (cold shower), and it is above a bar that plays very loud music until around 04:30.
Liked: OKTHEWAY Ultreia in Sarria is a clean apartment, and the owner was very responsive through Booking.com. During the European heatwave, the two-bedroom apartment only had one fan. After I raised this with the owner, they kindly provided a new fan by the evening, which was appreciated. Disliked: However, some facilities need updating and better maintenance. The washing machine was not working properly: the clothes did not wash cleanly and the spin cycle did not work, so I had to pay to use an outside laundrette. There was also no dishwasher detergent, no clothes hangers, no basic kitchen seasoning, and no coffee provided for the coffee machine. It felt as if the supplies had not been properly checked or replenished before our stay. Sin embargo, algunas instalaciones necesitan renovación y mejor mantenimiento. Liked: Clean and spacious.
Disliked: Had a problem with most appliances. There was no hot water, however, when we messaged the host he did come and fix it. But then we used the stove one day and the next day it didn’t work. The washing machine didn’t work at all, so we had to go to a laundry mat. Even worse, the neighbors were SO loud- above us and next door. Not a quiet place. Overall, just a disappointment.
