Pleasant
Liked: The idea of a 2 bedroom apartment was a good thing.
Disliked: When things went wrong they cut all contact. No towels in bathroom. No pillow in second bedroom. Air con broke after 30 mins.. asked for help and updates, they replied twice then stopped. Nothing got fixed. No towels. No communication. Very poor. Want a refund.
Bedbugs
Liked: It was a big apartment, close to the Camino and rua maior.
Disliked: The sofa and bed in the front bedroom were infested with BEDBUGS. They came out at night, from nowhere. All we wanted was a good night's sleep to start the Camino the next day and we're up until 2am trying to work out where to sleep. I messaged the host and she replied that she'd let the cleaners know. (If you go back over a year on the reviews, the same problems still exist.) All 3 of us ended up squashing into a 135cm bed. Both beds had 1meter bed base with 135 cm mattress (sizes approx) The only soap was a used shower gel which was also used to clean the bathroom. There was no bleach smell at all,only this gel smell. There were NO other toiletries at all! Even the toilet roll was a half used one. There is no bin in the kitchen, freezer over frosted, I mean really badly, the cupboards smell of stale food, no tea towels. NO PS3 and I messaged her about that but didn't get a reply. The spare pillow was ripped open and the bedding is so old that it's gone thinner and bobbly.
Liked: Spacious house.
Disliked: The host don't understand or speak English, there was not hot water, ran out of gas. No communication that they will send someone to fix it. Contact numbers was wrong. No kettle.
Booking.com communication could be improved!
Liked: The size, having a kitchen, setting up the Backpack transfer program for the Camino for us and the location.
Disliked: Communications to the property through the Booking.com app were never replied to (multiple attempts). What's App contact was much better, and in person, our hostess was helpful.
Disliked: Hay chinches
Very nice, I would repeat
Liked: The location was perfect and was very easy to get the keys. Also the landlady was really nice.
Disliked: We had a small problem with the water service at first, but was fixed within 40 min and controlling the temperature of the water was a nightmare.
