Liked: We paid a bit extra and had a small suite in the attic, with three windows overlooking the town.. it was lovely. An excellent lift. The restaurant holds the only Michelin star in the whole of the Guadalajara province. We were not feeling hungry or rich enough to enjoy it so walked the 10 minutes to the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor and ate well and inexpensively there at Atrio.
Disliked: Although the breakfast was adequate and served personally, rather than a self service buffet, we were not excited by it.
Nice town, wrong location for a hotel
Liked: Room was ok bed was ok - but rather small there are several good and cheap places for breakfast within easy walking distance.
Disliked: walking into the hotel - every time for 2 days - strong sewage smell on ground floor. The double bed was both narrow and short - I am only 1.8m long, my feet hung out of the bottom of the bed, and for 2 of us not possible to spread out. The air-con worked ok but was very noisy. The hotel doesn't have even 1 car parking space. There is no parking anywhere within 1km from this hotel - DO NOT arrive by car - there is absolutely nowhere to park. You cannot have breakfast unless paid and booked in advance - but there are several good and cheap places for breakfast within easy walking distance. Our room didn't have a window to look out from, I guess many rooms don't have a window.
