Fabulous
Lovely place!
Liked: Lovely place, lovely gardens, great views, great breakfast!
This is a decent base for exploring this interesting area though don’t expect luxury
Liked: The grounds are lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The location is a mixed bag: very little in the immediate vicinity but an easy drive to beaches, Santander and historic sites.
Disliked: The room was very small.
Liked: Great hosts! Great breakfast! The B&B was in the middle of a large garden/orchard. It was a great location. They even let us pick some ripe pears to take with us!
Ok, but some improvements needed
Liked: Off street parking. Good, varied breakfast included. Lovely outdoor garden space. Reasonable price for the area. Good location if you have a car, nearby access to beaches, supermarkets etc.
Disliked: No Aircon, which was uncomfortable in 30+deg. No soundproofing at all - quiet hours were supposed to be from 2200 but we could hear our neighbours moving furniture, having showers, flushing the toilet and closing window shutters until 01.30. Generally you could hear the front door and other bedroom doors opening/closing and people walking around (even if they were trying to be quiet). No small lighting (lamps etc) in the room so the choice was either total darkness or a really bright room.
Good for a one night stay
Liked: Breakfast was awesome, staff is really friendly. The room was clean, everything was functional. Actually the ceiling lamp had a hidden fan. Luckily we discovered it on the remote. It also operates without a sound, Wonderful! I want one of those for my bedroom too
Disliked: well, the room was very small, also the bed was tiny, like 135cm wide by 180 or max 190 long. The house is along the road leading to the next village so cars pass by all the time, you can't leave the windows open. So all in all, it is really expensive for what it is, lucky we had only one night.
Liked: Wonderful hosts! Very kind and caring. Beautiful Garden and nice breakfast.
