Fabulous
Dissapointment
Liked: Het uitzicht was mooi.
Disliked: Unfortunately we were not happy in the apartment so we left after just one night. We felt deceived by the photos and information on the Booking website. The building is shabby and ugly, but maybe we should have expected that sinds there was no photo of the outside of the building on the website. Inside the appartment, the bed was small and uncomfortable, as was the old couch. Several windows could not be opened and the window blinds in the bedroom didn’t close. The floor was not clean, was sticky. The stove was incomprehensible because you can’t read the digits on it. There was no kettle for hot water, so we had to boil water in a pan. And after using hot water for showering, there’s a very annoying noise coming from the boiler for a long time. On top of this, there was a party downstairs untill late, so we didn’t sleep much. This is, of course, not the owner’s fault, but it was contradictive with the ‘quiet neighbourhood’ that was indicated on the website. So in stead of 5 nights, we only stayed 1 night. I did contact the owner, and he promised to get back to me. He never did and we did not recieve any form of compensation.

Comfortable stay in lovely seaside town
Liked: A well equipped, comfortable apartment on 2 levels. Everything there that we needed. The upstairs terrace off the bedroom provided great views over the countryside with table chairs and sun lounger. Ample space to be comfortable.
Disliked: The underground parking was far too tight to accommodate our car, or to turn. Not a big car either (Fiat Spider). We solved this by parking outside on the street, which was fine. The location, whilst fine for the centre of town, is outwith sensible walking distance to the beaches and seafront area. Neither of the above spoiled our enjoyment and we would be happy to return.
