Exceptional
Liked: The owner was lovely even though we didn't speak spanish and she didn't speak english she still made us feel welcome. Lovely stay
Disliked: The Netflix on the tv didn't work, but not the biggest issue when your on holiday. Very minor, just handy to have when your back early with a small kid wanting to chill out and watch a movie.

A wonderful 4 night stay
Liked: A beautiful well maintained guest house with stunning gardens and views. A four night stay was very much enjoyed with a host who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Despite us not speaking spanish our host did her upmost to translate and communicate with us to meet our every need. Cleanliness was impeccable and breakfast beautifully prepared. Lovely open garden with plenty of seating to enjoy the views.
Disliked: We found the room very hot, potentially being on the 3rd floor. We did have a fan in the room but we were not helped by unprecedented heat for this time of year. Opening windows as night was not an option as the road noise was very loud as we found out on one of the evenings. On our arrival whilst we had confirmation of our booking being for 2 adults and 1 child, the accommodation didn't! This was disappointing and potentially could have been a nightmare if needing to find an alternative at such short notice this time of year, especially with us having a young child after a long time travelling. Our host was amazing in rectifying this and made a bed up in our room very quickly which we were incredibly grateful for.
A charming and authentic place where you can completely relax and feel at home
Liked: Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Yolanda, the owner, was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Although we faced a language barrier because she only speaks Spanish and we do not, she handled the situation very creatively and patiently by using a translation app to communicate with us. We are truly grateful for her hospitality and for the kindness and patience she showed us throughout our stay despite the language differences. The house itself is beautiful, combining authentic local charm with modern comfort. It feels incredibly cozy and inviting. The peace and quiet of the surrounding area are simply amazing – it truly is a little oasis of tranquility. I honestly do not remember the last time I slept as well as I did here! Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Every morning, we woke up to birds singing and cows mooing in the distance, which added to the unique countryside experience. Yolanda prepares a fresh breakfast every morning, and it is both delicious and plentiful. Everything was carefully prepared and made us feel right at home. The location is also excellent. If you have a car, the infrastructure is very good, and most of the area's attractions can be reached within 15–20 minutes. Even Santander is only about 30–35 minutes away. We highly recommend exploring the nearby small towns, villages, and beautiful beaches, as the region has so much to offer. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing and memorable places we have ever stayed. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, comfort, authentic hospitality, and a perfect base for exploring Cantabria.

Liked: Fue todo maravilloso,la estancia,la posada,la habitación,la dueña Yolanda muy maja y lo tiene todo cuidado al máximo detalle,los desayunos hechos por ella caseros y de 10. Hemos estado muy agusto,está en un entorno precioso y cerca de todos los sitios de interés de Cantabria.
