  Liked: A warm and welcoming family run BnB style hotel with a wonderful host in a great location. The view was unbeatable and all in very close proximity to the castle and resturants. Parking was easy too.

  Liked: Very welcoming owners. Comfortable accommodations and shared spaces. Terrific location with parking. Breakfast was excellent. You make your choices at check in, then everything is freshly made for you at your scheduled time. We'll return. It was a lovely stay. Marvão is gorgeous. Terrific views.

  Amazing hosts in beautiful Marvao

  Liked: The hosts are a lovely couple! They gave us great tips for local excursions and restaurants. We were in Marvao for a wedding so didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked but we will be back! I highly recommend staying here if you want a traditional Portuguese stay, it felt like we had a room in a Portuguese aunty and uncles house.

  Disliked: The only thing I would recommend is putting something on the balcony for shade as it gets very hot and the seats are metal.

  I would go back again and recommend if to anyone looking for a lovely, relaxing and interesting experience

  Liked: Incredible view, lovely owner, comfortable beds.

  Disliked: In order to drive there you need to make your way through narrow streets. They are big enough … but you need to be bold. Like with other European villages. Lots of charm because the roads weren’t meant for sedans!

  Liked: Words cannot adequately describe how beautiful our accommodations were and how wonderfully warm our hosts were. The property is charming, our room even had a Juliet balcony. It is so well kept and every detail from the towels to the bottles of water waiting for us to the amazing breakfast prepared freshly in the morning was top notch.
