Liked: The hotel and the room are very beautiful. A nice swimming pool with all the facilities. It was nice to rent bicycles as well. The host was very friendly and nice. I loved the furniture, the library, everything looked so antique and amazing. The room and territory were very clean. We also loved the pond with birds. You can enjoy the view on a sofa with a glass of wine - marvellous!
Disliked: No a/c for 150 euros is very-very sad! Taking into consideration that it was hot like hell even at night. The breakfast could include some hot dishes like eggs, not only fruits and pastry:( The territory of the hotel is beautiful but there are not many place where you can go on foot or by bicycle. But if you want to chill at the pool, this is not a problem!
Liked: Everything feels beautiful and peaceful 😊 I felt as if I had been transported to a wonderful estate in the Italian countryside of Tuscany. And Laura is the sweetest host!
Disliked: Not exactly “not like”, but the breakfast could be a bit more complete (for example, having the option to order eggs), and air conditioning would have helped a lot to cope with the 40-degree heat in this area (however, I completely understand the reason for not having it!).
A peaceful escape in nature, made even better by the warm hospitality and serene atmosphere
Liked: We absolutely loved our stay at Finca El Cotinal. Laura looked after us during our three-night stay and was truly wonderful – so welcoming, friendly and always ready to help. This is not your typical hotel, which we actually appreciated, as it adds to the charm and authenticity of the place. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious! The location itself is so peaceful and calm, surrounded by nature, which made for such a relaxing and grounding experience.
Disliked: One suggestion (not a complaint!) would be to consider offering more complete meal options on-site – perhaps even a small restaurant or dinner service, like they already do with breakfast. Given the remote location, it would be lovely to have the option to enjoy light, healthy meals without needing to leave the premises. While room service is available, it mostly consists of tapas and sandwiches, and having more wholesome meal options would really complement the relaxing, slow-living vibe of the hotel.

Liked: Beautiful scenery, loads of nature and peaceful. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.
Disliked: We booked the spa session and it wasn’t what we expected. The tiles of the pool were very damaged and the sauna wasn’t warm enough.
