  Disliked: Dear Booking.com Customer Service, We are submitting a formal complaint regarding our accommodation in Valencia, booked through Booking.com for four adults from 9 to 14 October 2026, for a total amount of €682. Unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable five-night holiday turned into an extremely stressful and unacceptable experience. 1. MISLEADING ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION The apartment was advertised and booked as accommodation suitable for four adults. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the apartment was effectively suitable for only two people. The additional sleeping arrangement consisted of a small, single-person sofa bed in the living room, directly next to the kitchen, which two adults were expected to share. We consider this arrangement completely inadequate for four adults and inconsistent with the accommodation description provided at the time of booking. 2. WE WERE UNABLE TO ENTER OUR APARTMENT EVERY SINGLE NIGHT This was by far the most serious issue. During all five nights of our stay, from 9 to 14 October, we experienced repeated failures with the electronic access system. Every evening, we returned to the apartment at approximately 9–10 PM, only to discover that we could not open the door. On every single night, we were forced to wait outside for hours, sometimes until approximately 1 AM, before finally being allowed to enter the accommodation we had already paid for. We were required to photograph ourselves standing outside the locked apartment, send these photographs to the support team, communicate repeatedly through online chat, and wait for a maintenance technician to arrive. This was not an isolated incident. It happened repeatedly throughout our entire five-night stay. Despite our repeated requests for a functioning physical key or a permanent solution, the problem was never properly resolved. 3. BROKEN PROMISES AND FINANCIAL LOSSES The accommodation provider repeatedly promised that a maintenance technician would

  Clean and cozy

  Liked: The property was close to the beach

  Disliked: The location to the city was 1.6 miles away but once we figured out the bus system it wasn’t too bad. We also had problems with cockroaches each day so I would recommend getting an exterminator in to fix the problem. Not having an outside window makes the apartment feel very small.

  Good place to stay with family and friends

  Liked: the ingress requires a web app to get in all the time, is not bad, but it takes a couple times to remember and get in again. the place is in a quiet zone and you can walk to near restaurants and beach

  Disliked: the light from the balcony which you can t controller it. All the light is coming inside the bedrooms. One of the bedroom you don t have a courtain to block thos light. One of the door could close. But this was reporter to the owner and he said that they will fix it.

  The apartment is clean, well equipped and conveniently located!

  Liked: Good location, around a lot of restaurants and shops which was useful. Provided towels and the facilities were well equipped and the whole place was tidy. Owners are very nice and accommodating!

  Disliked: The shower is quite flat so water leaked onto the floor and there was no bath mat so had to put down one of the hand towels. Towel racks would’ve also been nice but nothing that ruined the stay. One of the rooms was also open and not in a separate room but did have wall dividers.

  Great place to stay for few days and have all the amenities you have at your home

  Liked: Great amenities, good location. The apartment was clean and spacious. The AC was quite effective in the July heat. You get a starter kit to get you moving. Good amount of utensils and dishes, washmachine and dish washer all functional and clean. We had a 3 year old with us so for us it worked out well. Overall very good spot to stay, cook nice meals and stay as if you are at home.

  Disliked: Note that it is not a serviced apartment so cleaning the apartment as you require is up to you. So if you are staying for long, then it may be an issue. Of course you can get it cleaned by the provider but it comes with additional cost. At this room price, may be the service could have been included.
