  Liked: Location, staff responsibility and availability via direct communication. All questions were sorted out quickly. Clean apartments. Kitchen with all required dishes.

  Disliked: Smell from pipes in the bathroom. Glad there is the door, that can be closed. Maybe some kind of cover would help.

  Comfortable and affordable flat to rent near the Valencia convention center

  Liked: The property is more like a full apartment at your disposal rather than a hotel. You’ll have a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, dining table, and everything you’d typically need for a short stay. It didn’t seem to be any regular room service during my stay, though you could probably request it if needed. Overall, it’s more of a small apartment-style rental experience than a traditional hotel. The keys are digital and are sent to you via WhatsApp, so I actually never met the owners in person during either check-in or check-out. They also provided a taxi driver for an extra €30, which was probably about €10 more expensive than Uber. However, the driver was very helpful in finding the apartment, which was especially useful since it might have been a little difficult to locate on my own.

  Disliked: The Wi-Fi stopped working during my stay, but the owners provided me with the password for a different network, so I was still able to get online. It's not a deficiency, but rather a random occurrence. I also requested some new trash bags and a small detergent pack for the washing machine, as I didn’t want to buy a full bottle of detergent for just a week-long stay. Unfortunately, those requests went unanswered. That said, I wouldn’t consider this a deficiency, since these items were not explicitly included in the services. I did get the impression that the people communicating with you via WhatsApp and the property owners may be different parties, and that their communication with each other isn’t particularly smooth. Overall, though, this didn’t have any significant impact on the comfort of my stay. One small suggestion: the picture of the African lady staring intently at you gave me a few jump scares when I woke up during the night! 😄 Something a little more neutral might be preferable.

  We canceled early due to the smell and the doors not locking reliably

  Liked: The apartments were clean and well furnished, and only strewn notice could be heard, the walls between flats were very thick. The air conditioning worked well.

  Disliked: The rooms smelled of sewage. We canceled our stay after one night and booked somewhere else because of the smell. The WiFi information was incorrect for the flat we were in and did not work well. The doors would not lock reliably, which was a problem as they opened to the street level. If you have to stay, you can put a wet towel over the drain and it helps the smell a lot.

  Disliked: Better to have toiletries because the shampoo and bath gel dispensers were empty and they did not replenish when I requested. The dishwasher was not working and they did not respond when I asked about it the first and only time I was supposed to use.

  Very bad stay

  Disliked: I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this property. Our stay was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. The apartment was not properly cleaned upon arrival, and several basic supplies were missing. The biggest issue, however, was the Internet. The Wi-Fi was extremely weak from the first day and then completely stopped working for several days. Since the TV depends on the Internet, it also became unusable. As someone who needed a reliable connection for work, this caused significant disruption. Even after repeatedly reporting the problem, communication was slow and frustrating. We had to send multiple messages before receiving meaningful assistance, and the issue was only resolved after a technician finally came and confirmed there was a problem with the router. The most disturbing part of our stay was the complete lack of privacy. On one occasion, a staff member opened our apartment while we were asleep. Because it is a studio apartment, the bed is directly visible from the entrance, so we were suddenly exposed and extremely frightened. On another occasion, a cleaning staff member also entered the apartment by mistake. The property admitted responsibility for one of these incidents, describing it as “human error,” but that does not change how upsetting and unacceptable the experience was. Instead of taking full responsibility, many of our concerns were minimized. Offering a late checkout and a discount on a future stay was not an appropriate solution after everything that happened. After this experience, we would never consider staying here again. If you value privacy, cleanliness, reliable Internet, and professional customer service, I recommend choosing another property.
