Fabulous
Liked: Great location near old town
Disliked: Some neighbours were quite noisy, but I think ther were Italian tourists since they sang Italian songs late into the night
Functional, comfortable, good price point--we will return
Liked: Small efficiency studio unit met our needs for comfortable bed, updated nice clean bathroom and small very functional kitchen. Windows opened to a quaint quiet street and air-conditioning worked well. Bed was comfortable, space used well. Elevator made bag transport to second floor easy. Location was excellent.
Disliked: Lighting was too low to read or work well in the main area, but was fine in the bathroom and there were bedside lights. No bug screens on windows.
Good Location, but Better Suited to Adults Without Children
Liked: Positive aspects - Excellent central location, allowing you to explore the city on foot. - The flat has all the basic essentials. - Easy to find, with clear visibility from the street. - Very good communication with the host, who was always responsive and punctual. - Check in was a little complicated but manageable.
Disliked: Negative aspects - The sofa bed was uncomfortable. - The towels provided were very small, with only one face towel and one small intimate towel per person. - The €200 deposit linked to noise complaints was a major downside. We were staying with two 7 year old children and felt anxious whenever they raised their voices or ran around, making it difficult to relax. For this reason, I would not recommend this flat to families with young children. - The checkout requirements were also disappointing. We had to wash the dishes, leave the kitchen exactly as we had found it, and take out the rubbish, without clear instructions on where to dispose of it. Otherwise, €50 could be deducted from the deposit. These conditions felt unnecessarily strict, especially considering the additional cleaning responsibilities expected from guests.
Great - if you like surprises
Liked: Excellent location, clean and well equipped.
Disliked: Before the host will send you entry codes they contact you and require access to your credit card and charge a €200 deposit (refunded upon satisfactory check-out). They say its a policy of the management but fail to mention this in the policy section on Booking.com. You only learn about this after you have booked and paid them for the room. Perhaps they have had bad experiences and room damage in the past but that is no excuse for hiding this policy until the nonrefundable booking has been processed. The wifi was not working when we arrived. After claiming the fault was our phones the host had an IT guy try to reset the router remotely. When that did not work they discovered a faulty cable connection and restored the wifi later that evening.
Great for staying when you're out all day
Liked: Great location in the city center. Perfect shower. Airco worked well.
Disliked: I expected it to be a bit bigger, poor amount of utensils in the kitchen, beds could have been more comfortable.
Perfect base for exploring beautiful Valencia
Liked: Great location, comfortable and very clean. Large outside terrace. Helpful and responsive staff support who assisted with early check-in too. Plenty of room for 4 people despite only 1 bedroom.
Disliked: Nothing I didn’t like. Only comment is that it’s not very homely. Large bookcase with nothing on it for example. A selection of 2nd hand books and board games would make all the difference - particularly if bad weather prevents guests from going out.
