Fabulous
Liked: Great location!
Disliked: We were at the room number 1 and the gate was a bit loud - but that’s because people slam it, but overall it was great!
Liked: It's easy to enter into the apartment, as they use codes. The beds were very comfy.
Disliked: The main door of the apartment was cracking every time we used it. The apartment is on the plant floor.
Liked: The location is really good, near the City of Arts and Sciences. Turia Park is actually just across the street, Ruzafa is nearby and there are some nice bars and restaurants. It is a more modern part of town. The centre is also not so far, around 25 minutes on foot. As we like walking and strolling around, it was a nice walk. Even in August 🙂. Everything is within walking distance. If you want to go to the beach, you can rent a bike. There is a Valenbisi station across the street. It is a great option to see Turia Park, go to the beach... We went to Bioparc by bike as well. So you have everything around, and we really loved the location. Our apartment was quiet as it overlooked a quiet street. However, the air conditioning made a terrible noise, so the first night was really difficult to sleep. The air conditioning didn't work very well either that first night. I contacted the host in the morning and they came right away to solve the problem. They changed the filters and really did their best, so we are really thankful that they reacted promptly. It was better later, although the A/C still made some noise, but it was not so unbearable anymore. I told the host about it and I think they will take it into consideration, as it can be a real problem for a good night's sleep for future guests. I had earplugs. As I said, they really reacted quickly and answered all my questions promptly. The apartment is generally cosy. It is a bit dark, but we did not stay there a lot, so it didn't really matter. The kitchen is well equipped, and everything was clean. To put it in a nutshell: an excellent stay regarding the location, decoration and cleanliness of the apartment. If it had been completely quiet, without the noisy A/C, the mark would have been 10.
Good for short stays in Valencia
Liked: The location is pretty great, close to several bus stops. Communication with the host was easy and they responded fairly quickly to all our questions. Everything was clean and maintained. Air conditioning worked great. Wi-fi connection was available, although sometimes spotty. Check-in procedure was quite quick, as was entering the apartment (all digital, no keys).
Disliked: Unfortunately there was a bit of noise every night - neighbours from the other rooms slamming doors and talking loudly in the corridor. We were in an apartment whose window looked towards the doors of the neighbouring building and didn't really want to keep the curtains open due to a lack of privacy. And it's the ground floor, so really can't do anything about it. Bathroom was spacious, but there was no spot to put your bottles and soaps.
Generally good
Liked: The apartment was clean, stylish, and located centrally, close to transport routes, cafes, and restaurants. There were clothes-washing facilities and a decent size shower.
Disliked: I had to ask where particular things were, which hadn't been explained to me beforehand. However, the manager was quick to respond via messaging. There was a loud intermittent grinding noise in the corner of the apartment near the bed, which kept me awake at night, which was possibly linked to the air con unit. There was no way in August that I could have turned it off at night....it was far too hot! I was staying with my teenage son so having both beds in the same compact apartment didn't suit us both well. I think the photos made the apartment look bigger than it was. I wouldn't stay here again but it would certainly suit a couple or a solo traveller exploring the city.
Love Valencia, would definitely go back and use these apartments if I could get them a little cheaper
Liked: Good location and was clean and safe with nice snack bars, restaurants and green spaces near by
Disliked: No outside space with the room.
