    Decent for short overnights

Liked: Friendliness from the first step. The bed is quite comfortable. Decent showers and WC. Luckily I stayed in a mid-season, otherwise I could imagine the queues for the bathroom.

Disliked: My visit fell on mid-October and it was quite chilly during the night. I wasn’t aware of it and couldn’t predict, so that kept waking up through the night and ended up putting on all my clothes. It would be handy to just ask/offer a blanket to the guests at the reception as I wouldn’t go to pick it from there at night upon realizing I actually needed it.

Liked: Great location, good vibes, Nice breakfast for the price

Disliked: Really loud emptying of trash in the middle of the night. Only woke us one night though.

    PERFECT

Liked: I just stayed for one night and I loved everything. Starting from the best professional staff at the reception, the Argentine lady and the Italian guy were just perfect. They are lovely and easy to explain and organize everything in a short time. Then the location is just perfect, in the town close to everything, including the big market where you can enjoy good food and drinks. I met a wonderful kind of people there, nice, polite, and fun. The room was comfortable, and I had the opportunity to relax a little bit on the sofa after my check-out until wait to for the to travel to the airport. I just super recommend this hostel. They should have more around Europe with the same style.

    Disliked: Nothing. All good.

A friendly little place to stay

Liked: The location (just behind the Silk Hall) couldn’t be better. The staff were excellent, especially Finney, who was professional and really went out of her way to help me find locations etc. and keep a check on things. This made a huge difference to my stay. Comfortable beds.

Disliked: Well, this is an old building, so it did have its quirks and felt cramped at times, compared to a hostel in a more modern building. I would have appreciated all male and all female bathrooms, but realise this might not be possible. The kitchen was well stocked but a small space, so could get crowded at popular times. A nice series of Welcoming events are put on and whatever age you are, you were made to feel welcome and could mix if you wanted to, or not. Price-wise, it was more expensive than other hostels, but maybe this reflects the location. Good air conditioning made a huge difference. The door key system took a bit of getting used to.

Liked: An area is very nice in center of old town. There is a lot of events that they suggest for you, some of them also free. It is possible to chat with other guests and find some company. Kitchen is available to all and you can leave your food inside the fridge, which is nice. You can check in in any time, which is very comfortable for travelers

Disliked: It is very noisy all day and night inside and outside of rooms. The building is very old which is kind of expected in this area, and also because of events it is even more noise. Also there is a lot of people outside and you can hear them too. I think it is generally impossible to sleep without noise cancellation head phones or similar staff. There is one bathroom, it is on the level of old/male dorms, so not clean.

Great location, staff, vibe but noisy

Liked: Very friendly helpful staff. gave us beach towels, did laundry service including dirty trainers! Nice vibe and decor. Good location.

Disliked: Very noisy - sounds carry easily so found it difficult to sleep. Bedside lamp broken.
