Exceptional
What a gem!
Liked: This apartment is located in a quiet street in El Carmen and you can walk within 5-10 mins to the main sights. It is larger than it looks like on the photos, very clean with all the amenities you can think of. Vicente who owns the place is very helpful, also throughout our stay suggesting restaurants and places to go. Would a 1000% recommend this apartment to anyone that would like to visit Valencia!
Disliked: Nothing
Birthday weekend in Valencia
Liked: Vicente was a fantastic host, he organized a fantastic restaurant booking for my birthday paella at short notice. Was so helpful with places to visit. The apartment is in a fantastic location, easy walk to monuments, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Highly recommend. Everything you need is provided in the apartment.
Liked: iIf you get lucky to come across this apartment and it is available, don't hesitate, book now! Because everything works perfectly here! The host will welcome you personally, with little things that instantly make you feel at home, with all the instructions and a marked map for navigating around the city. An exceptional location, cafes and bakeries for morning enjoyment nearby, silence at night in a busy part of the city, everything is there to enhance the beauty of Valencia. We especially thank Vincent once again for helping us to enjoy the city to the end on the last day, without thinking about our suitcases.
Best place to stay in Cuitat Vella Valencia
Liked: Location was perfect. Walkable to Old Town and all the sights. The apartment also had everything we needed for the stay. Vicente the owner was very responsive to all our communications. He was very helpful with our questions.
Excellent
Liked: Great location, clean apartment with everything we needed - and very good communication with Vicente. No problems at all.
Overall good stay
Liked: This apartment is in a truly fantastic location right in the heart of the old city, making it perfect for exploring on foot. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, communicating easily in both Spanish and English, which made check-in and any questions simple and stress-free. The apartment itself was well-equipped. We were provided with water, coffee, tea, and milk, as well as maps and even a public transport card, which was a huge bonus!
Disliked: Since the apartment is in an older building, it was quite cool, but this was easily remedied by using the air conditioning unit for heating, so it wasn't a problem. For future guests, I have two suggestions for improvement. The mattress on one of the beds is quite worn out and affected our sleep, so I would suggest replacing it. Also, the toilet flush in the bathroom needs to be repaired.
