  Great location for onward journey to Bilbao ferry port the next day

  Liked: Location & loved the actual building itself- old & quirky. We were in the main hotel & room was a good size, was clean & the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good & the lady serving us at the table asked us to sample a version of bread & butter pudding, but with croissants, that she’d made - was delicious.

  Beautiful venue IN the

  Liked: Old world charm and elegance. Free parking. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Walk to tram from Palacio to get to city center. Reverse order to return to Palacio.

  Disliked: A little off the beaten path but everything is manageable. No big deal. Very beautiful venue.

  Lovely charming hotel, easy to stop on route through Spain

  Liked: The hotel and room are very quaint and pretty. The restaurant was closed on my stay which was unfortunate but there are local eateries.

  Disliked: Unfortunately the walls are so thin you can hear everything from the rooms next door.

  Disappointed. Purely for having no restaurant

  Liked: It was a stunning building, and with secure parking. The interior is very Spanish with beam ceilings and furnishings.

  Disliked: The fact that there was no restaurant at the hotel and none nearby.

  A good find just outside the city

  Liked: Very old characterful place 500 years old they told me. Helpful staff. Decent vfm. Free parking. Excellent breakfast. I also took dinner which was simple but very good.

  Disliked: Rooms need some investment- bathroom, furniture etc.
