  Great place to stay

  Liked: Four star hotel with quality. The staff were very helpful and arranged private secure parking for my motorcycle.

  Disliked: The air conditioning didn’t appear to work and I wasn’t able to cool the room down to take the edge off a warm temperature

  A pleasant enough stay in a beautiful setting by the sea, but rather lacking in character

  Liked: A glorious view from our bedroom. The breakfasts were really good, though the hot food was in reality just lukewarm on each and every day, not helped by having cold plates. Everything in the hotel was clean and well cared for - the room was well equipped, though another comfy chair would have been appreciated. We had a superb welcome from the receptionist who couldn't have done enough for us. She brought us a bottle of the local wine at the start of our stay and asked us daily whether we had enjoyed ourselves. She was a fountain of knowledge and made us feel really welcome.

  Disliked: We expected there to be a swimming pool - sadly not in use at the height of the summer season. We thought that for a four-star hotel there should have been coffee/tea making facilities in our room and not to be charging for bottled water kept in the fridge. It should also have been possible to order coffees after lunch in the bar, but we were told that it was necessary to order these in the outdoor seating area. Overall the hotel was functional but rather lacking in character and was somewhat pricey for the facilities offered.

  Liked: The views from the balconies/terraces are fantastic. Also close proximity to the beach. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were really professional and friendly.

  Disliked: A lot of the facilities are closed - pool, spa etc. Also not a lot of options in the town for dinner and the hotel restaurant is open only for lunch. Therefore I don’t think it’s really worth a 4 star hotel rate.

  OK ish

  Liked: Able to book in early. The view. Convenient parking.

  Disliked: Not being advised, in advance, that the restaurant was closed, nor being told that there was one within walking distance. Lack of any information in the room.
