Old town

Sleeping inside the old town puts everything worth seeing in Viveiro within a stroll. You enter through the Porta de Carlos V, by the bridge over the Landro, and in a few streets reach the Praza Maior, the church of Santa María do Campo and the convent of San Francisco. The streets are narrow and cobbled, with bars and shops at street level, and at night there is life without much noise.

It suits anyone coming to discover the town who wants to have lunch and dinner without moving the car. Bear in mind that parking inside the old town is difficult, so look for a space along the estuary.
