Nice city, I’ll find another hotel next time

    Liked: Centrally located,

Disliked: There was an overpowering stench in the lobby. We didn’t notice it at first in our room, so we stayed. Eventually in the room, the smell was so overpowering that we left at 5:00 AM. I wrote to the property and they said that the city has a sewerage problem and it wasn’t their fault. They did apologize but no offer to make it good in any way. We noticed no smell in restaurants or even in the café next door to the hotel.

Lovely characterful hotel in excellent location to explore beautiful Zamora

Liked: The staff were delightful, the room and its bathroom were spacious and clean, the decor was light and pleasant and the breakfast was a copious buffet including a coffee machine that wasn't as awful as most hotel buffet coffee machines. The hotel is well positioned to access the stunning medieval/Romanesque old town with its three layers of ramparts and we may well come back to this hotel because we want to explore Zamora more extensively.

Disliked: The only thing we didn't like - and this may not be the hotel's fault - was the strong smell of drains in the Reception area. It is quite offputting when you first arrive, despite the lovely friendly welcome from the charming lady on duty. The smell does not make it to the upper floors, though.

Liked: Room, location, staff and breakfast were fabulous. The only gripe was that the soundproofing was not that great, so I could hear people talking from adjacent rooms.

Disliked: Sound proofing and no safes in rooms.

A great hotel that I would happily recommend to anyone

Liked: Fantastic hotel in a great location very close to the centre. The secure parking in the garage was worth the money. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast amazing.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

White cottage chic and comfy spaces in a stylish hotel close to the old town

Liked: The ambience and style of this boutique hotel

Disliked: Could do with a fridge in rooms but at least there was one in the common room
