  Good apartmemnt in great location to explore Zamora with parking and great host

  Liked: The location of Los Bolardos is great, a block away from the Market hall (under renovation) and then the main shopping area, the modernist part of Zamora and the medieval old town in walking distance. We enjoyed strolling the streets and exploring Zamora without the need for any transport. A small supermarket, opening long hours, is just across the street, other shopping options would be in the vicinity. Carolina, our host, was extremely friendly and flexible, always helpful and fast to communicate and doing everything she could to adapt to our needs. The apartment is quite well equipped, one notes that it was once someone's living place instead of being a minimally furnished place for tourists. Having a small dishwasher was nice and we also cooked there. Various basic food items were supplied, which was also a nice touch. Since we came by car, it was a real bonus to have the secured underground parking with lift to the apartment. Our host had warned about the tight elevator (yes, really, an elevator for cars) getting you down there, but we had no problem and down in the garage a Mercedes E type was parking beside us, so as long as your car is not larger than that, you should be fine. Note to access the parking you really need to have coordinated the time with the host, as the streets are rather narrow and you cannot easily wait in the vicinity.

  Disliked: The main weak point we noted is the (bed-)sofa, which was really not very comfortable to lounge on. More subjectively: don't expect any charming views or morning sunlight drifting through your windows.
