  Liked: Great location, 10 minute walk to the beach and city centre. Hostess is great and very helpful. Room was clean. The parking for the motorbike was great

  Liked: Good area, close to town. Room as pictured and good value.

  Disliked: No fan or Aircon provided which was hard during the heatwave. We never asked for one so they may be able to provide them

  Excellent value for money

  Liked: Ideal stay because a huge common kitchen was available with all appliances, free private parking out of street, 10 min walk to the beach. It is very difficult and expensive to park the car near the Zarautz beach. Car parks at Zatautz are expensive and rare. Some rooms even had huge balcony with stand to dry up clothes

  Disliked: Private free car park and common kitchen with full appliances. Location near the beach. Comfortable rooms mostly with private bathroom

  Brilliant hosts and great location

  Liked: We loved the location and the view. We also appreciate a self-catered kitchen. it was nice to interact with other guests too.

  Disliked: There was no air-con or fan in the room for the heat, or fly screen to keep our mosquitos on the windows

  Handy place to stop on the Camino, basic accommodation which provides a relief from the dormitories

  Liked: We were on the Camino, but wanted a break from the dormitories, a simple room with beds and a shower was all we needed. It was on the side of town we were coming in to so that was easier at that point. It wasn’t far from the town and beach, and there was a decent cafe close by. There is a large kitchen, should you wish to self cater.

  Disliked: If you’re looking for a comfortable, modern hotel room, this isn’t that. It was just about suitable for us as it provided a relief from the dormitories. The bathroom was really dated, and the property in general seemed very run down. On arrival, it looked locked up and disused, but the host arrived eventually to let us in and show us around. The price felt like a lot for the facilities, but maybe that’s the norm in this area.
