  Liked: We absolutely loved the location, right by the beach in the beautiful town of Zarautz. Our host Bakame was wonderful, friendly and helpful, even picking us up from the bus station. It is a lovely, bright, clean studio apartment and we really enjoyed our two nights there.

  Seaview with a rat

  Liked: Location is very nice with a view on the beach, the hosts are also very friendly and even came to pick us up from the station. The apartment was small but very cosy and overall clean, the bathroom had shower gel and soap:) AC was nice to have in the summer, the kitchen is also very well equipped.

  Disliked: During our stay, we noticed strange sounds in the ventilation system and later realised it was a rat running around in there (especially at night, which made it a bit hard to sleep). Even though we messaged the host about it, we only got one reaction with apologies, but the situation wasn’t handled, and the rat was still present. The following messages were completely ignored. Also, when you actually want to cook in the kitchen, it would be nice to have salt and pepper there already, so you don’t have to buy a huge pack at the supermarket that you won’t use up anyway.

  Liked: Stayed with my son for the final in Bilbao Our host was absolutely fantastic. She collected us from the bus station as we arrived late and made sure we enjoyed the area.

  Apartmentos Dada catered to all our needs and more during our stay in beautiful Zarautz

  Liked: The host was patiently waiting for us to arrive to personally introduce us to the apartment. The studio had everything we needed and was very comfortable for two people. The location is stunning as you walk down some steps onto the promenade parallel to the beach. The beach is great and filled with watersports and surfers (my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed this aspect). Zarautz is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and go for drinks in the evenings. With beautiful San Sebastian just half an hour bus journey away, it is a must-visit for people who enjoy surfing and exploring.

  Disliked: Despite having many watersport opportunities, the town of Zarautz does not offer much more apart from a few gorgeous hikes and lovely shops. We did not mind this at all however others, who aren't interested in an active holiday, may see this as a negative.
