  Very comfortable stay with everything you need

  Liked: Very clean and tidy. Plenty of equipment and lots of thought given to those travelling with small children. Communication was very good.

  Disliked: The property isn’t the most attractive from the outside but it makes up for it on the inside.

  Excellent, spotlessly clean, comfortable apartment at top of hill

  Liked: This is a great apartment at the top of the hill behind the old town. There are free outdoor escalators up the hill! It’s on the same road as the Balenciaga museum. A shortish walk downhill to the old town and the beach. Handy supermarket nearby. We didn’t cook in because the restaurants were great so no idea on kitchen equipment. Basically, you get a long room divided into bathroom, bedroom and living space with a window at the far end. Our daughter stayed one night on the sofa bed, which she said was comfy. If you’re lucky they offer you a parking space behind apartment- say yes if you’re offered it because parking is not easy!

  Disliked: Nothing. But I don’t like being asked to give a 10 rating because it defies the point of ratings. Even if you get a direct discount next time you come.

  Liked: Clean, comfortable, well equipped,. Excellent location with a supermarket and a bakery steps away, short walks to old town, beach, boardwalk, vineyards, hiking trails, and hourly buses to San Sebastian. Secure garage parking for 10 euros a day (reservation required).

  Disliked: The couch is not comfortable. Sound proof needs improvement.
