Liked: Impressive grand hotel in a stunning location and the gardens are wonderful. The staff will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable.
Great travel in time and confortable stay
Liked: Loved the decorations and the fact that was a true time travel. Staff was very friendly Everything was quite nice overall Amazing piano nights
Disliked: Matress was quite unconfortable Breakfast could be a bit improved
Liked: The location, the history of the Hotel, friendly staff. Skiing ticket of schatzalp is included in the hotel price - was a lovely ski slope with the strelapass restaurant on top.
Disliked: The hotel restaurant is extremely pricey and very small portions - we just came back from skiing and were hungry - l decided to try the ravioli for 33 CHF - l got like 6 small ravioli, it was good but not worth the expensive price - the rim of the plate was bigger than the actual portion - came across very pretentious and as 90's nouvelle cuisine. Not the right fit for us, we went down to Davos-and had a Pizza there as we were still hungry.
Liked: Schatzalp was in itself a journey! Journey into hospitality, architecture, nature, literature… finally into myth!!!

Liked: The Building, if you are fan of Thomas Mann Der Zauberberg
Disliked: Last night we got sick and at 20:25h hotel could not provide (sell) anything to eat or a paracetamol. If you are an isolated hotel in a Mountain (you can't arrive by car) you need to be more resourseful. Personnel said they are sorry but didn't really seemed to care about us.
