Fabulous
Once a special hotel, now a disappointing three-star experience at best
Liked: Just the location And the cleanliness
Disliked: This used to be a very special hotel, with a charm and character that set it apart. Unfortunately, Fassbind has completely ruined it. There are plenty of four-star hotels in Geneva and across Switzerland that are simply not comparable. In its current state, this hotel is a three-star property at best. Some rooms are located on the fifth floor, yet the lift only goes to the fourth. Guests are expected to carry their suitcases up the stairs, without being informed in advance or even asked whether they are travelling with a small overnight bag or heavy luggage. For a hotel claiming four stars, this is unacceptable. What is particularly disappointing is knowing how special this hotel used to be and seeing how much it has lost in both character and standards. A real shame.
A great stay in Geneve in a convenient location with great shopping and restaurants options!
Liked: great location, only 10 min walk (or 5 min bus ride) to the Old town area. With many good restaurants within 5-10 min walk distance, great variety of cuisines!

Good but not great
Liked: Decent price and was as described. Bed was comfortable and room clean
Disliked: The room was farther away from the train station then expected (17 minute walk). We did a lot of walking just to get to Old Town and the interesting parts of town. The hotel looks like it was lovely at one time but is now pretty dated looking. A bit run down

Liked: Good location close to the city
Disliked: All staff was friendly despite the breakfast lady, she was utterly rude when I didn’t found anyone the reception and asked her that I need to check out, she seemed annoyed and told me I need to go to reception what i obviously understood
Great location, mediocre hotel
Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: The breakfast was substandard. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor. Blown out bulbs didn't help.

Please note that the Tiffany restaurant will be closed on the evenings of 24 December and 31 December and no room service is available. On 25 December and 1 January, the Tiffany restaurant will offer only a brunch from 11:30 to 14:00.
