    Okay stay

Liked: The property is in a good location to the town centre. A few mins to many restaurants and shops. The house / rooms looks great, antique and Victorian style.

Disliked: There are quite a lot of restrictions that felt odd. A few are acceptable though, we were asked to leave the muddy footwear at the entrance which is okay, but we were told not to eat in the room. Cooking was obviously restricted ( there isn’t any kitchen ). There were few restaurants that were doing only takeouts and we could not get the food to the stay as we were restricted to eat anywhere within the building. On asking the host, we were told not to eat, but can make an exception for us to eat in the dining room but we would have to clean the area. It felt more like a monitored hostel. Eating on bed/ muddy shoes / etc are acceptable but not having to eat anything within the stay is quite unfamiliar to us. Besides these, note that parking is bit tough. The parking spots are actually behind the property and it’s very conjugated for a hatchback size car. We were lucky to get spots at the front of the stay, at peak season this could be tough.

Liked: The house was lovely: very clean and homely. It was a great location as it was very close to all the restaurants and walks. Communication was excellent and the use of an online guidebook gave us all the information we needed. It was easy to request top ups for tea in the room through the guidebook.

Disliked: Our room was at the top of the house and it was hard to keep it cool at night despite turning off the radiator and keeping the window open which made it difficult to have a good night's sleep.

Faultless property, faultless food, faultless location and most importantly faultless host!

Liked: The location is perfect and close to the centre so we didn't have to drive if we didn't want to. The property was perfectly clean and very well presented. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and worth every penny especially for the quality of the food but most importantly Gid was a perfect host, he wasn't overbearing but was also happy to help and provide any information we could possibly need!

Disliked: There was nothing me or my partner could personally fault with the property, sone people may find a slight issue with the water pressure but we had no issues atall

Fantastic room in a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Was perfect for what we wanted

Liked: Central location. No fuss from anyone. Everything we needed.

Disliked: Someone banging on my wall at 6am 🤔 and loud banging on floor above like I’m not sure how much you can move about in a hotel room 🤷🏽‍♂️
