Exceptional
Nice enough
Liked: Property was clean and had a hot tub. Good central location and pretty setting
Disliked: There was no privacy we were effectively staying in someone’s back garden and could see the house and their seating area from the hot tub and vice versa which I don’t believe is super clear from the advert. The host didn’t provide check in instructions and was difficult to get hold of as was away. The hot tub was empty on arrival and no matches or lighter was provided for lighting the fire needed to heat it.
Very welcoming, helpful
Liked: It was exactly what we needed, space to relax but still near lots to do and see. Martin was a great host, who gave us our privacy but made sure he was available if required.
Disliked: Nothing
Good spot for trips in Erydi National Park
Liked: Out of the hubbub of Betwys-y-Coed, in a pretty garden, helpful host. Lots of birdsong!
Disliked: It was obvious that host's wife didn't want renters. Hut is very small for 2 people.
Wholesome weekend away
Liked: We had the most wholesome stay over the past weekend at Shephards hut. The hosts were lovely and the dog was very friendly! We felt that the hosts were very accomodating and helpful whilst also allowing us privacy throughout our stay. The town is only a 20 minute walk away! The walk down is steep at parts so make sure you’re wearing appropriate shoes. Highly recommend!
Great place to enjoy a few days in Betws-y-Coed
Liked: Lovely pod with everything you need for a few days. The hot tub was great to have! Martin was a great host, very friendly.
Disliked: Nothing
We had a great time and memorable experience at the shepherds hut
Liked: The hut is set in a lovely location and within beautiful scenery. There is a running stream at the bottom of the garden. The drive up to the hut is through a wooded winding lane which is very quiet and beautiful. The hut is modern and clean. The mattress is very comfortable. The host Martin is very helpful and he runs the local inn. The food served at Ty Gwynn was home cooked and very good.
Disliked: The signal to the tv and Wi-Fi were a little problematic but the host is sorting this out with a tv engineer.
