  Liked: We stayed in a small room with a window facing the road. It's a lovely Victorian house with beautiful furniture, tasty breakfasts and a great location. We didn't have any issues with the shower mentioned in some reviews. It's small, but perfectly fine. Everything was great.

  Disliked: The room itself is quite small, of course, but that's clearly stated in the description. Compared with what you can get in London for the same price, it's actually very good.

  Liked: Was as expected. Clean,owner let me use garage for my motorcycle. Would highly recommend this b+b. Breakfast was great.

  Liked: The only kindness they showed was that they let me check in earlier and they kept my bags for me at checkout so that I could spend my day walking around so thank you for that

  Disliked: I stayed for four nights and unfortunately, my experience was far from relaxing. After climbing Snowdon on my 1st full day, I was exhausted and looking forward to having a shower. Halfway through, there was loud banging on my door and the owner was shouting 'What are you doing in there?!' And was told to stop immediately because there was a leak through the ceiling. I had to get out of the shower, put my bathrobe on and let someone into the bathroom. I was told a plumber would need to be called and that they “really didn’t have time for this! I already have a really busy day!" As if it was my fault. There was no apology or acknowledgement of how disruptive this was. I understand these things happen but it was the way it was handled and how I was treated. I had to go straight to bed without finishing and without the use of the toilet as they were in there trying to sort out the leak for ages so I went to sleep dying for the toilet. The next day, I was told I couldn't use my bathroom until the following day because they found out that the leaks were coming from the taps. I was told I was allowed to use another guest toilet, but when I asked if I could use their shower quickly as well I was told no as the guests would be arriving soon (even though I was also one of their guests) so I even offered to clean it after but was still refused therefore had to find and pay to use a shower at a nearby hostel, where the lady was so helpful and understanding. When I could finally use my bathroom again, I was only allowed to use the bath. I completely understand that plumbing problems can happen and are sometimes unavoidable. However, what really disappointed me was how the situation was handled. There was no apology apart from a note next to the shower attached the next morning APPLOGIES SHOWER OUT OF ORDER There was no attempt to make the situation easier for me, and I was made to feel more like an inconvenience than a guest.

  Lovely stay in Betws-y-Coed

  Liked: I had a great 2 night stay! Breakfast was very good, the room and bathroom were great in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The location was practical as I didn't have a car and I relied on buses which are close. Overall, a lovely stay - would recommend!
