worked out well for our stay
Liked: lovely host, apartment very clean, fresh linen sheets, warm and breathtaking interior and views outside
Disliked: sleeping accommodation limited to one room. Bit too far to walk regularly into town
Experience some stately living. In beautiful grounds!
Liked: This was quite a grand place for us to experience. High ceilings, spacious rooms, comfortable furniture and beautiful grounds.
Disliked: A tricky walk on the A470 to get into town

Liked: This is a wonderful place, with amazing gardens and access to the meadow and the river. We had a very enjoyable stay, and would love to come back. Thank you, Fiona, for your hospitality!
Disliked: I think the only thing it misses is access to the village by foot (you have to walk for a bit along the main road, no pavement). Otherwise than that, it's perfect.

Liked: Everything about the apartment is absolutely superb. Fiona is a brilliant host and looked after everything we needed. The apartment is simply stunning and unique, with a real sense of history coming with it. Immaculate, warm when needed, excellent kitchen and bathroom and the bedroom is extraordinary. Couldn't be better, on anything.
