  Group of lads travelling together would not stay again because of dirt of rooms

  Liked: Reception/ bar area was good

  Disliked: Beds were filthy bedding wet mattresses torn and badly stained. Room not ready until after 4 and not cleaned properly.

  Liked: Its located in the old town and it's one of the cheapest one in Edinburgh.

  Disliked: Bunk beds are noisy,little lamp next to bed didn't work,no plugs if you are on the top of the bed,no just 2 showers and 2 toilets for a 10 room people.The condition of the room leaves much to desire.You barely can sleep with all the noises of beds and people.Check-in through the app was a mess,didn't work properly,didn't give you the electronic key so u ended up waiting to get one in reception,even the workers seemed like not knowing what they were doing.Paid for breakfast more than 11 pounds and nobody was checking it so I could see everyone was getting breakfast without have paid.Breakfast is crap,really basic. I wouldn't stay more than a night and even like this you won't rest at all.

  Great location

  Liked: Location was centrally located. But the neighborhood was sketchy at night.

  Location and price make this a great choice

  Liked: Excellent location. Nice to have bathrooms in the rooms for 4. Good price.

  Disliked: Limited staff at front desk for assistance. Mouse running around in the common room. Room was on the warm side.

Good to know

Guests under the age of 16 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Guests under 18 should have parental permission if not accompanied by parents and can only be accommodated in private rooms, not in shared dormitories.
