Three days of utter joy even though I was still recovering from a respiratory virus. Hot Toddies!

Liked: Location is the best. Right where we wanted to be as we have been to the Apex Waterloo Place several times. It is walking distance from our favorite places in Edinburgh.

Disliked: Well, there was a lot of traffic issues due to a gigantic water project and that was an unavoidable inconvenience but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the APEX!

Very nice hotel, well located, with a wonderful breakfast

Liked: The room was a nice size, and modern. Toiletries were terrific. I liked the coffee and tea set up in the room. The breakfast was excellent. The location with access to the train station on the lower floor was superb. It was easy to get to all the locations we wished to visit.

Disliked: There was a bit of a moldy smell in the bathroom. We brought it to the staff's attention and they addressed it straight away and compensated us with a free breakfast.
