  Liked: Staff were great, always pleased to help. Location was perfect with easy walking routes along thebcanal and into the city

  Very quaint and very well run

  Liked: A lot of character music was a bonus breakfast was nice staff were great

  It was fine

  Liked: Staff were friendly and it was cozy

  Disliked: The room was very small and the bed very hard. Our bathroom light didn’t work, and the plastic lid for the garbage in the bathroom was broken. It was less than I would hve expected for the price.

  Ok to sleep but not a place we wanted to spend much time in

  Liked: Having parking as an option was good and it was walking distance to an old town. The Scottish music night with photo slide show was great - and a shame it was only done 1/3 nights we stayed.

  Disliked: Our bathroom wasn't in the bedroom, it was across the hall (was not aware of this when we booked). The decor was old and tired, towels almost thread bare. The breakfast was disappointing - ok to have continental but there was only cereal and toast - no bread rolls, croissants, cold meats etc. Our room was downstairs and very dark with no outlook from the window.

Good to know

Guests can make use of the secure car park at any time after 07:00 on the day of arrival and up until 22:00 on the day of departure.

Guests are welcome to arrive any time after 07:00 and can leave their bags with the Averon Guest House until their room is available. Rooms are ready after 14:00.

If arriving after 22:00, guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel of their estimated time of arrival by calling the property on the day.

Guests are able to arrive after 23:00, but they are requested to advise of their time of arrival if arriving after that time. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

A deposit may be required at the property.
