  Liked: Very clean and comfortable property! The location was perfect and the owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. We absolutely loved our stay!

  Disliked: Only thing that was missing was a lock on the door but we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe so it wasn’t much of an issue.

  Home like stay in Leith Walk

  Liked: The host was welcoming and keen to offer suggestions to make my stay more comfortable. The host stays there, so you do have easy access to help when need. He will check on you daily to ensure all is well. It really felt like home.

  Disliked: It's an airbnb at a good rate. So you won't get small extras like soup shower cap, tea that you would typically find at hotel. It feels like home. Which is great if you want to experience what living in Edinburgh. Also heating I limited to the evenings, but it is comfy nethertheless

  Liked: The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfy. The stairs (two levels) were not that bad, if you're going to walk in Edinburgh you're going to encounter a lot more. We were happy we could use the kitchen (fridge and utensils). We didn't end up cooking there, but we did prepare our own breakfast at the apartment.

  Disliked: As stated in other reviews, the owner also lived in the apartment. That was not a problem, he was nice and didn't bother us. However, the bathroom didn't have a lock, which made us a little uneasy to use it when he was home. The house smelled of smoke a little bit, but the room didn't. There could've been a trash can in the room, we missed that a little bit.

  Highly recommended,we didn't meet Ned but he messaged us

  Liked: We found the accommodation to be excellent for our stay in Edinburgh. Shops, restaurants, and buses were all on our doorstep.

  Disliked: The spiral stone stairs to the flat looked a little daunting at first, but we are 78 and 82 years old and managed them safely. Nice solid handrail. Everything else about the accommodation was delightful.
