Liked: Excellent central location and surprisingly quiet at night. Clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Limited cooking utensils and vessels. So OK for breakfast but less suitable if you plan to make meals in the evening.

We came for a wedding at the Scotsman hotel which was about 8 min away

Liked: Very central. Big and comfortable Brilliant video sent to describe the property

Disliked: Lots of stairs which is not mentioned on booking. Maybe it would have been a nice gesture to leave a small container of milk.

  Location is everything

Liked: Location was perfect. Had actually stayed in the same building on a previous trip (different host). Everything was clean and ready for us to arrive.

Disliked: I would have appreciated being able to drop our luggage and then go explore the city. Completely understand there's a cleaning person and a schedule BUT storing out bags a block away for 8 hours was inconvenient. Would have been much better to give us early access (understanding it might not yet be cleaned out) and if we promised to just drop our bags and go would have saved time and $.

  Location. Location. Location!!!

Liked: Fantastic location on the Royal Mile. Very easy to access all we needed for a short stay and a gig at the Castle. Host's response was always prompt and helpful. Great bars nearby and plenty of places to eat. Highly recommended.

  Liked: Great location

Disliked: 5 flights of steps. No elevator. Not good for a person with bad knees and back. Didn't know this upfront. This should be in the facts about place. I wouldn't have rented it, if I had known.
