  Home away from home

Liked: Everything about this stay was fabulous. Location, decor, hospitality. Home away from home.

Liked: Loved the proximity to Dean's Village. The apartment was newly renovated and had all of the modern conveniences.

Disliked: We are used to air conditioning, so we found it quite warm, especially for sleeping at night. Very few places have AC in Scotland, so this is a me problem 😄

  Fabulous!

Liked: The apartment is clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The extra touch of a robe for guests was really appreciated! The property is close to Dean Village and an easy 20-25 minute walk from the royal mile. If you don’t like walking as much as I do, the transit system is great in Edinburgh and it’s easy and inexpensive to catch a bus wherever you want to go. After a day of exploring Edinburgh, the property is just steps from the Water of Leith. You can walk toward (or to!) the ocean, or walk away from the ocean for a rest from your busy day by listening to the water and the birds in an uncrowded area.

Disliked: Instructions for the appliances might have been helpful for people like me, who are not familiar with the appliances in Scotland. But I figured it out!
