  It was good

  Liked: It was warm and the beds were comfy. I just stayed for one night before the bus journey, so I can’t say more. The location is top, just in front of Milkman

  Disliked: The distance between two beds is too small, so you can’t sit on your bed.

  Just okay

  Liked: Location was excellent. Check in easy and quick.

  Disliked: All rooms are up stairs, mine was on 3rd floor. No bathrooms in the dorms and the women's were a whole floor away. Not enough cubicles especially on a morning when everyone's trying to get ready. Bottom bunk not high enough to sit up in, very cramped. The roof leaked during the night and wet my phone charger, clothes and bag. We were woken up to move beds. No one asked how my experience was on check out. I should really have some offer of compensation considering I've had to purchase a new charger.

  Liked: The location is superb. You can catch all the main attractions in Edinburgh from here with ease. Public transport and all the facilities nearby. Lockers provided inside the room are quite roomy for a short trip. Also, everything was regularly cleaned.

  Disliked: The rooms were quite small and so were the beds. If you're taller, then it would be difficult for you to sleep or rest. The pillows were also quite thin. Some people may prefer pillows like that. But something that made my nights uncomfortable. Also, I would have liked if there was a chair in the room.

  Overall, a great experience!

  Liked: The double room was functional, despite its small size. We changed rooms after the first night (we had two separate bookings for different room types), and the staff moved our belongings to the new room during the day. Absolutely excellent service!!

  I would stay again and probably will!

  Liked: Excellent location and incredibly friendly staff.

  Disliked: Room #8: All sounds from outside could be heard, and when other residents came in, it sounded as if they had entered our room.
