  Adequate Edinburgh stay

  Liked: Reasonably priced and the location was good.

  Perfect location, spotlessly clean, great room (408), quiet, excellent staff. Will use this hotel again and recommend to

  Liked: The hotel was in a perfect location - within walking distance of all the attractions and shops. Our room was a great size and spotlessly clean. Plenty of towels, a proper size hairdryer and even an ironing board and iron. We would book room 408 again. The staff were great and friendly. The coach stop to the airport was right outside the front door.

  Disliked: We were there during one of the storms - the third of the season at the end of October - and the window creaked st times. However, maintenance came and had a good look first thing, as soon as we mentioned it. It was fine after that as the storm was short and it was so quiet after that.

  Amazing location, super clean, bring earplugs

  Liked: Clean, great location, super friendly and helpful front staff

  Disliked: Walls are thin, cleaning staff are quite loud in the morning also so we woke at 9am each day. They sometimes tried to enter the room when we had a do not disturb sign up!

  A good choice

  Liked: I had a great time staying here. A couple of points to note: 1. The staff was excellent - very helpful, right from the check-in process to the last day I was leaving (they advised on where I could go/what I could do, commute routes etc). 2. The room is decent. Not massive, but still spacious, very clean and comfortable. It had a good range of amenities (the basics). I couldn't hear too much noise from other rooms either unless there were people right outside my door. 3. The location is great. Very convenient and for my plan specifically - it served as a central location to all the places I wanted to visit. 4. Price wise - a bit on the higher side but given it's a part of the Marriott International brand, I wouldn't expect it to be lesser (they lived up to the price, no doubt). Overall, this was a good choice and I'd definitely recommend people going for this.

  Liked: The staff both at the reception and housekeeping were very polite and helpful. We were provided with directions and every request was immediately fulfilled. The location was very convenient, about 15 minutes walk max. from all the major attractions and train stations. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped.

  beautiful room in central Edinburgh, perfect for families with small children

  Liked: The room was great for my family (3 adults and 1 toddler), The bunk beds are comfortable and the room was well kept. The hotel is in a great central location and the key card access to get in the building was much appreciated as an extra level of security (though I would say the area seemed nice enough not to NEED it). I would absolutely stay here again!

  Disliked: The only think we didn't like was the persistence of the house cleaning staff. on one of our days they removed everything off the beds so they could remake them, ive never stayed in a hotel where room staff did something like this and it was a bit off-putting. If stuff is on the bed then dont touch the bed is the usual fair from my understanding
