Fabulous
A good location to see the downtown area. Bus and train stops close by
Liked: Perfect location for Edinburgh sightseeing. Very kind and attentive staff. Small very limited kitchen facilities
Disliked: Kitchen area had no towels or paper towels, breakfast was quite limited for price
We enjoyed our stay and our room was clean. It was a bit noisy though being next to the lift. The parking fee at the hot

Disliked: The parking fee and additional pet fee and having to check in and out yourself whilst someone stands there telling you what to press.
Don’t stay here if there is a fire alarm!!
Liked: Good location. Good quality rooms and beds
Disliked: Staff seemed poorly trained. Took an age to pay for the simplest item, water, drink etc. Hopeless IT. Dreadful choice of wines, not chilled, ran out of choices, rip off prices at £10 a glass (bottled). Then we had the 06.55 fire alarm. Clearly not trained properly. Clueless. Microwave fire in Room 101. Arabs carrying suitcases down fire escapes. One of our party was an ex fire officer and was shocked at failures he saw. Then the staff were more concerned about room numbers for giving a coffee. I went next door to the Yo Hotel. Appalling

Great stay in Edinburgh
Liked: We loved the room, it was well appointed and was a great size, very roomy. The bed was also super comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.
