  Disappointing

  Liked: Good location

  Disliked: Had to ask for water twice as house keeping didn’t give us any on second day. False nail on floor. No tea bags had to ask. Dirty cup not replaced. Lights to toilet would not come on unless main light was switched on first which woke my husband up. Went to breakfast and was waiting patiently when a couple the man on charge knew barged past and was dealt with before us. I pointed out this was rude but your man said it was because they were in a rush. We left before them so they were not. I therefore found the customer service not up to par. The room was dark, we couldn’t see a view. Not worth the 300 a night price tag. Will not come back to this hotel

  Very enjoyable and would stay at this hotel again

  Liked: Location is very good and close to a lot of the main attractions. Close to the New Street car park and the hotel gives a discount on the parking charges. staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and clean with lots of wardrobe space for a family of four.

  Overall I loved how close everything was so walking to places usually took anywhere from 20-40 mins

  Disliked: Rooms can get very complicated to find. The water pressure in the shower is not great.

  Liked: Had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Carlton. The location is fantastic—right in the center of the city and just steps off the Royal Mile, making it extremely convenient for exploring. The hotel itself is nice, and the standout feature was definitely the staff, who were all wonderfully kind, professional, and welcoming. The food was okay overall.

  Disliked: ​However, there are a couple of things that could be better. The commercial rates felt a bit high for the overall package, and the gym is very limited. It lacks enough equipment and really needs additional weights and machines. ​Overall, it's a good hotel thanks to the prime location and great service, but upgrading the gym facilities and reviewing pricing would make it much better.

  Disliked: Had to change from deluxe room due to no air con working. Got a very grotty room with poo in toilet and TV not working. Just a complete waste of money.
