  Thanks for a lovely stay

  Liked: The staff were fantastic, when we asked about what buses we could get to varies places and what restaurants they would recommend they were very helpful. If we needed anything else for the room ( more coffee or tea, extra towel, etc) they would either get it straight away or arrange for it to be put into your room.

  Disliked: We found the bed a bit too soft for our liking. But others might like a soft mattress. Its a shame the restaurant is shut on a Monday and Tuesday. It would be nice if the bar opened at lunchtime (opens at 5pm).

  Didn't want to but unfortunately had to be Honest about my review

  Liked: Clean hotel, breakfast was great & room sizes are really good.

  Disliked: Unfortunately had to change room because of a loud noise coming from a large ventilation by the window. Changed rooms but unfortunately the 2nd room was even worse than the first room for noise. No air conditioning.

  Liked: Clean comfortable room, good facilities and helpful staff, really close to tourist spots while being quiet and away from the action when you want to get a bit of respite.

  Liked: Location was good close to city but quiet.

  Disliked: Restaurant food was poor. Breakfast was excellent.

  Lovely comfortable hotel. Good area for local cafes & shops, bit far from centre & unfriendly staff

  Liked: Beds were extremely comfortable. Location was lovely but quite far from the centre of Edinburgh. Buses were a bit sporadic but Voi bikes worked well and taxis.

  Disliked: The staff were not at all welcoming. They were quite miserable but did do their job well enough.
